Over the weekend I read a great article in the NY Times about the transformed College Center at Sunders High School in Yonkers. It is one of six centers paid for by the Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE) whose goal is to provide ALL students access to a quality education. These college and career centers will offer much needed support to students and families, provide workshops and advising in addition to providing a dedicated full time College Advisor.
