Today I participated on a webinar rolling out the details on the newly improved client services Rand Realty is offering our tenants and landlords. These services are as a result of the demand and growth of our local rental market. In a recent New York Times article titled "In a slow economy, rentals zoom" Joseph Rand, managing partner for Rand Realty was quoted as saying "In some ways, renters have become the new buyers." In Westchester County and the Bronx the rental business has certainly increased. According to the article "Westchester is the fifth-tightest market for rental apartments in the nation..."
