This year as I thought about the location for Mother's Day brunch I considered a few establishments. I wanted a location that would offer good music, food and fun. I also wanted a place we could chill relax and celebrate the day. I had been to SOB's over the years but I had never attended their Bossa Nova Sunday Brunch. At a pre-fix price of $28.99 per person for a 3 course brunch menu, a live jazz band and unlimited Sangria I had to give it a try.

You feel the tropical island vibe upon entering from the bar area to the main dining area. We had a 12:30 reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. The hostess and servers were extremely accommodating.
Our server came over to our table as soon as we were seated. Customer service that I always LOVE.
A delicious basket of bread, corn muffins and croissants were brought over shortly after we were seated and received our menus.
SANGRIA
Initially I ordered the white but I didn't like the taste much so my server brought over a red which was good. From then on it was Red Sangrias for the remainer of brunch. Gotta love unlimited Sangria.
The live music was great.
He brought a few birthday ladies on the stage and we all sang Happy Birthday to them.
I ordered Beef Empanadas as my appetizers which were tasty.
For my entree I ordered Carioca Chicken
Crispy Boneless Breast of Chicken with Poblano Mashed Potatoes, Garlic Collard Greens and Chicken Chorizo Thyme Gravy
For dessert I ordered Passion Fruit Mousse with Tropical Fruit Compote & Macadamia Nut Crunch. This was not my favorite. I wish they would have had a few scoops of ice cream.
